Linda accepts limited commissions for searching records and assisting individuals in learning more about the heritage of their ancestors. Her work includes (but is not limited to) documenting Cherokee heritage, records of North Georgia county courthouse, Georgia state records, and federal records-military, census, court, naturalization, etc. She also does extensive research using property records and newspapers. As a resident of Pickens County, Georgia, she has easy access to the records of the following Georgia counties:

- Fannin County, Georgia
- Lumpkin County, Georgia
- Pickens County, Georgia
- Dawson County, Georgia
- Forsyth County, Georgia
Besides the county courthouse listed immediately above, she frequently uses the National Archives-Southeast Region in East Point, Georgia; the Georgia Archives in Morrow, Georgia; and the University of Georgia Library in Athens, Georgia.
